ADVANTAGES TO THE CLIENT
 

• Storage and display of your vehicle.  Periodic cleaning of the exterior and interior is also provided.
• Local, regional and national advertising with a display ad on traderonline.com.
• Fielding inquiries from prospective buyers, and arranging test drives.
• Negotiating and completing the sale of your vehicle, with all necessary paperwork.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
 

• Delivery of the car to us with at least 1/4 tank of gas, and a recent or fresh professional detail of the exterior and interior.  If in our opinion detailing is needed, we can arrange to have it done at our facility or a nearby detail shop at a cost of $150 (for sedans in reasonably good condition).  We will collect this charge at the time of dropoff if we determine that detailing is required.
• Recent (within 2,000 miles) oil and filter change.  If an oil change is overdue, or no written evidence is available, we can arrange to have it done.  The charge for the oil change will be collected at the time of dropoff.
• Current state safety and emission inspection, good for at least the duration of the consignment period.  Again, state inspection and repairs (if necessary) can be handled by us at the client's expense.  Cost of any repairs, replacement of parts or state inspections will be billed, and are due and payable upon completion of the work; we will not deduct them from any later sales proceeds.
• Maintenance of full liability and/or comprehensive insurance coverage of the vehicle until it is either sold or removed from consignment.

OUR FEES
 

• We collect a non-refundable $100 marketing fee for our consignment service upon dropoff.  We will also collect estimated detailing and inspection costs, if applicable.  Upon sale of the vehicle, we will collect our fee of 5% of the sales price, with a minimum of $500 and a maximum of $1000.  Of course, any outstanding repair, detailing, extra advertising or inspection invoices will be deducted prior to final payment.
