How It Works |
| |
| |
. . . WE FIND OUT WHAT YOU NEED . . . |
| |
| |
We will visit with you in person, by phone or e-mail to find out
what you need. Or complete and submit our
inquiry form. If you are still somewhat undecided as to
particular models, we will be glad to consult with you at no charge
and discuss the pros and cons of each. After arriving at a
particular model or models (as first, second or third choices), we
will do our homework. |

. . . WE DO OUR RESEARCH
. . . |
| |
| |
We research our “Black Books”,
actual comparable auction history, and dealer sales data to
determine a maximum wholesale price at which we feel we can fill
your order. We then call you with that price for your approval. |
| |
| |
. . . WE BID ON YOUR
VEHICLE . . . |
| |
| |
If you agree, we need several
things to actually complete the process: (1) an
authorization on our form that sets forth your requirements
and maximum bid limit; (2) a small cash deposit of $500 for
expected prices up to $15,000; $750 for cars auctioning at
$15,001 to $20,000; and $1,000 for cars over $20,000 (and
unusual or hard-to-resell vehicles, such as cars with manual
transmissions); (3) how you plan to pay for the car (bank or
credit union information if you are financing); and (4) 45
days to fill your order. If we cannot deliver a car that
fits your criteria in 45 days, or you cancel the order
before we actually bid on a car for you, your deposit is
returned IN FULL.
*Deposit Policy - Your
deposit is fully refundable until we begin physically inspecting
vehicles. If you order is cancelled after we have begun
inspecting cars on your behalf, we will retain $100 of the deposit
to cover our research and inspecting expenses. |

This is one
of the methods we use to check for repairs and accident damage. The
Elcometer® electronic
coatings meter costs nearly $1000 and measures paint thickness down to 1
micron (one millionth of a meter). The reading in this image shows
factory paint thickness on a 1997 Nissan Altima.
